Ravin 300 with Fixed Gear
and Fixed Pitch Prop
Ravin
300, fix gear, fix pitch fitted with a O 360 Lycoming
engine is up and flying. A 25 hour test period need to
be flown. We already did 14 hours trouble free. It is a
much easier aircraft to land than the Ravin 500 due to
the smaller engine and reduced weight. The fuel tanks
have been reduced to 125 litres per side versus 300
litres per side on the Ravin 500. A composite Price P
Propeller was used on the Ravin 300 and found to be the
ultimate. If the aircraft is going to be used for short
field take offs we recommend a VP propeller.

Product News
A 300hp engine was fitted to ZU RMM
and recently ZU-RAV. There were some
changes to be made. The intake manifold had to be
modified to have the injector pointing forward. We had
to discard of the naca duct and a add-on air filter had
to be fitted to the front of the cowl. The engine is
approximately 50lbs heavier than the 260hp. All I did
was moving the battery box and Hydraulic pump 300mm aft
which was already mounted in the back of the aircraft
behind the hat rack. The aircraft handles well and for
some reason the plane is much smoother and quieter than
the 260 hp.

Ravin 600 Twin
We are in the process of
developing the Ravin 600 Twin. We decided to go ahead
in developing the Twin due to the huge demand in the
Export Market. We hope to have the Twin up and flying
mid to end 2010. The main wings as well as the
fuselage are identical to the
Ravin 500 except for extra
nacelle ribs.
Aircraft to fly with ECU Stroker 340 (x2) engines.

Ravin 900
Another product in the near future would be the Ravin
900. This
will be a 9 seat configuration.
