Ravin
300, fix gear, fix pitch fitted with a O 360 Lycoming
engine is up and flying. A 25 hour test period need to
be flown. We already did 14 hours trouble free. It is a
much easier aircraft to land than the Ravin 500 due to
the smaller engine and reduced weight. The fuel tanks
have been reduced to 125 litres per side versus 300
litres per side on the Ravin 500. A composite Price P
Propeller was used on the Ravin 300 and found to be the
ultimate. If the aircraft is going to be used for short
field take offs we recommend a VP propeller.

WINGLITS
Ravin no. 12 will be
flying at the end of January 2008, and will be fitted
with the new winglits.
